Alicia Carrera
Originally hailing from Galicia, Berlin-based Alicia Carrera is a graphic artist and music explorer. Her vision has been cultivated in smoky bars, second-hand buckets, and underground publications. Those could be the reasons why her sets always escape from a common place. Her musical obsessions embrace genres such post punk, dub, kraut, or experimental electronics among other sonic passions, with a penchant for uncommon melodies. Perceiving the music as a way of self-emancipation, her sonic approach has no boundaries. Alicia is the founder of the platform LíO Press and Sameheads resident and also co-organises events dedicated to unusual sounds in unique spaces.

André Pahl
André Pahl is known for his Safari mixes—pitched down cinematic journeys through uncharted seas, forbidden deserts and distant galaxies.
His sound tends to oscillate between psychedelic trips, experimental disco and voodoo percussion, exploring the slowed-down heartbeat of danceable music.
He had a rendez-vous with Mexico City’s lunatic music scene while living there for some years, co-running the label “Nuevos Ricos” and starting to DJ in shady neighbourhood street parties and art happenings inside jammed subway stations.
Listening to André Pahl’s sets is like being compelled to push yourself inside a forest even though you know it'll be dangerous — head first, then the whole body, submerged deep into a strange jungle world, partly solid, partly made of shimmering liquids.

Kappa Cat is an Italian visual artist contemplating nocturnal wonders in the upside-down twilight of Berlin. Her sonic quest is attracted by the bizarre possible within the sphere of dance music. A long journey of obstinate beats, rhythmic loops, psychedelic landscapes and noise magic.
Giorgio Gabber
Giorgio Gabber is the oblique djing of Elia Buletti, also active with his solo project Delmore Fx and with the Berlin based limited editions label Das Andere Selbst.

Lucy Park
Lucy Park is a London-born Berlin-based dj and noise-maker. Her sound palette involves the perverted side of rock, loud sticky band practice, sulky string-play, temple bells, drumming on the point of coming and the faint scratching of a cowgirl writing her name in the sand.

We have been confronted with ongoing complaints from neighbors regarding noise levels. Sadly, this issue is not unique to us, as numerous music venues in Berlin have faced similar struggles. In response to these complaints, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our basement for concerts and club nights since February to address noise concerns.
We're working on necessary repairs to ensure harmony with our neighbors and to reopen the space very soon. For over six years, Arkaoda has been a place for cultural exchange and artistic expression, proudly serving as a platform for the music community in Neukölln and Berlin.
We are still committed to keep this place alive, but we cannot navigate these challenges alone. In response to these difficulties, we are initiating an online fundraising campaign to gather resources for the necessary repairs and official adjustments needed to reopen our basement for concerts and club nights.
