Put together by label boss Joe Delon, the lineup features two exciting Berlin debuts and a well-kept local secret.

Alex Sourbis (Siblings)

Brussels-based Alex Sourbis’ take on dance music is as particular as it is expansive, which is a fancy way of saying this man has *thoughts*. And while thoughts alone don’t make a good DJ, they sure do help. In Alex’s case he has the chops to back them up: angular bass melts into slinky house and back again in cogent style, encouraging shifts in perspective. As co-founder of cosy Brussels dance party Siblings, he has warmed-up for guests like Oceanic, Parris and Dana Kuehr (who played at our last Arkaoda party), so it makes total sense to have him set the stage tonight.

Nick Kagame (Dust Off)

Manchester’s Nick Kagame is one of Joe’s favourite DJs. Over the years, his elusive party Dust Off has welcomed guests like Kiernan Laveaux, Ben UFO and Gwenan, and Nick sits comfortably alongside those artists as a DJ invested in the detail of what makes club music tick. A Nick set unfurls in flowing, unpretentious style, even as he casts the sonic net daringly wide: Detroit geeks out with dembow, amapiano splits a pill with acid house and, of course, there's always room for a bit of Roska Roska Roska! Expect all that and more as he takes on peak time tonight.

Twist Fire (Loose Rhythms)

Jersey-raised, Berlin-based Twist Fire is a DJ connecting the classic eras of house and disco to the prismatic global sounds of today. From Frankie Knuckles to Leonce to Mbene Diatta Seck, she finds unity in the grooves and the emotions they can unlock. Committed to vinyl but a fan of mixing it with digital, of late she has been levelling up her turntablist skills for extra flair. It was three years ago, at Luigi Di Venere’s party Maximum Joy, that Joe heard Twist Fire play for the first time, and more recently she’s been booked by Daytimers and MIAAN Nights. Tonight she’ll be giving us the consummate closing we all deserve.
